While it is one of the most lucrative sides of the Entertainment Industry, it is also one of the most confusing. Copyright law is there to protect us, but there are many things that can be superseded by a signed contract. Before you sign ANY agreement you don’t fully understand, consult an attorney that specializes in contracts like yours, and isn’t working for the other party.
